The uninstall option for the (x86) 32 bit version is only accessible via the SD2 installation disc. I'm editing this post for the second time having made some advances in solving the problem. Shedding any light on this would be much appreciated. Prior to a reinstall of SD2 to 'Program Files', would I be okay just deleting the current 18.2GB SD2 folder/files in 'Program Files (x86)' as opposed to uninstalling? I don't see any other way to get rid of it. Also, there is no uninstall file in its folders in the 'Program Files (x86)' folder. However, I cannot uninstall the SD2 from the 'Program Files (x86)' due to it not showing up in my control panel programs, nor the start menu. What I done was uninstall the UAD2 and then reinstalled it to the 'Program Files'.

For some reason, the UAD2 software showed up in my programs in the control panel but the SD2 did not. I think I've come to the conclusion that I installed to the wrong location, installing them to 'Program Files (x86)' instead of 'Program Files'. Today, I powered up to find that my UAD2 plugins and SD2 are not available in X1. I didn't have time to check if eveything was operational. After installation, I switched my PC off due to having stuff on that I had to attend to in a hurry. I installed UAD2 and Superior Drummer 2 the other day.

I upgraded to X1 a while back and also to a Win7 64 bit operating system. It's more likely my knowledge of computers which is bad here.

Save the drum track then re-map it with MidiFileMapper. Something else to note is I mostly use Jazz or Latin styles, I think this might have something to do with it since the latin kits often have percussion instruments (clave, guirjo, etc) in addition to standard kit drums.Įdited by watermelon ( 03/01/17 10:36 AM) I've tried exporting the MIDI drum tracks and dropping them into a SD track directly but this has the same results as loading SD directly in BIAB. This works without a hitch except I can't get the drum kit mapping right either way. I use BIAB to generate rhythm section and piano tracks which I then import into Sonar X3 and record my guitars on top.

I've found other suggestions to make a custom patch map but this has proven easier said than done. I've searched on PG's site and I found a few threads on this before, but none of them address this particular issue. I have multiple drumsets available in SD and I've tried them all but the MIDI mappings are always messed up. I've been able to add SD as a plugin in BIAB but the mappings are really off- midi tracks that should be played on the hi-hat are sent to SD on the bass drum, etc. Has anyone had any success using Superior Drummer as a plugin for BIAB?
